Hi, I’m Robert Esswein. A mechanical engineer by training, a maker by instinct, and someone who genuinely enjoys figuring the world out. My professional background has shaped how I approach problems with precision and an appreciation for thoughtful design. But this site is less about my professional life and more about the personal side of my mindset.

Esswein.info is first and foremost a photography gallery: a home for the images I want to share and the creative work which interests me most. The site itself is also an experiment in its own right - a way for me to learn more about building websites by creating, testing, and refining one. In that sense, both the photography galleries and the site containing them are part of the same process: learning, making, and improving over time.
